• Session cookie (laravel_session): required to keep you logged in and to store temporary data between pages — essential for the site's core functionality.
• Authentication cookie (remember token): used if you check "Remember me", so you're automatically logged in next time.
• Security cookie (XSRF-TOKEN/CSRF): required to protect forms against cross-site request forgery attacks.
• Advertising cookie: set by Google AdSense; used to serve ads and measure their performance.
• Functional data (localStorage): not a cookie, but a similar technology — your browser stores an anonymous "visitor_uuid" and a flag that the language-switcher hint has already been shown.

3. Analytics cookies

The site does not currently use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics service. Visit statistics are kept on the site's own server as a separate log (VisitorLog) and are not shared with third parties.

4. Google AdSense advertising cookies

5. How to manage cookies

Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies (browser settings → Privacy/Cookies section). Note: if you block the session cookie, features such as staying logged in and saving crossword-solving progress may stop working.
